Last Few Days

Our program is sadly coming to an end. We had a great time in Kokoro. After zip-lining, we also visited a local farm and learned all about the fruits and vegetables native to Costa Rica. We ate cacao seeds, fresh pepper, pineapples, sugar cane, moringa juice, coffee beans, passion fruit, and so much more.

Competing at the Tico farm!

We traveled from Kokoro to Playa Hermosa for our last night. It was a scenic ride through the country to the coast. Our driver, Randy, pulled over twice to show us some monkeys in the trees! After finally arriving in Playa Hermosa, we went straight to the beach. It was so wonderful to be back on the beach after being inland. We all went straight into the water. It is a beautiful beach surrounded by palm trees.

For our last night evening, we dressed up nicely and made a special occasion out of it! We ate a delicious restaurant right on the beach. As we waited for our food to come, we lay on the beach and gazed at the stars. We even got to see some shooting stars! Then we had our final nightly meeting to wrap up the trip and express our gratitude for the experience!

Although it has only been two weeks, we have all gotten so much closer as a group. The students are looking forward to getting home and telling you all about it. We are grateful for the opportunity to travel with your kids and get to know them. They are truly a special group.

Pura Vida!
